The Finnish Aviation Museum organized an open Air Show over the seafront of the capital Helsinki, presenting the history and future of Finnish Aviation. Along with the Air Show a group of industrial leaders in the defence market displayed their abilities and products. Among the exhibitors were KONGSBERG which showcased Joint Strike Missile and Ninox Remote Tower System, along with being present at both BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin’s pavilion with the Joint Strike Missile.
The Finland 100 Anniversary Air Show presented a unique cavalcade of flying aircraft from the past and the present. The Air Show, as well as other parts of the Finland Flies! –campaign, celebrates the first century of independent Finland.
