SATELLITE RECEIVERS AND DEMODULATOR SYSTEMS

MEOS™ Capture (HRDFEP, HRTG) are used in critical environments, where “every bit counts”. Current users of MEOS™ Capture includes NASA EDOS, ESA, Eumetsat and Kongsberg Satellite Services. Typical applications are remote sensing and meteorological satellite ground stations, EGSE and SCOE systems.

MEOS™ CAPTURE HRDFEP

DEMODULATOR AND RECEIVER

The  MEOS™ Capture HRDFEP is a high performance, fully programmable data receiver, demodulator, acquisition and telemetry processing system for the most demanding professional users.

PERFORMANCE, RELIABILITY & FLEXIBILITY

The MEOS™ Capture HRDFEP is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) with direct sampling of the input IF signal. This solution simplifies the analog part of the receiver and reduces implementation losses compared to other sampling strategies.

The MEOS™ Capture HRDFEP receives modulated I signals and ECL / LVDS baseband signals. It outputs raw and processed data to disk, network and baseband outputs. It supports conventional satellite downlink standards as well as DVB-S2 and CCSDS SCCC.

MEOS™ Capture HRTG

MEOS™ Capture HRTG is a high-performance test transmitter for ground system testing and verification. It generates phase modulated and baseband data streams for testing of demodulators and other ground equipment.

MEOS™ Capture HRTG outputs PN sequences, simulated data and real satellite data. It generates modulated IF signals with various modulations, carrier frequencies and power levels, as well as ECL / LVDS baseband signals.

PERFORMANCE, RELIABILITY & FLEXIBILITY

MEOS™ NAS

Network Attached Storage is a data storage accessible from the network. It provides scalable data storage and automatic data storage management, FTP based data input and output, and data distribution via the Space Link Extension (SLE) protocol. This product can also be used as an online rate buffer.

MEOS™ NAS is fully compatible with MEOS™ Capture and MEOS™ Polar. Data can also be provided from other systems supporting (S)FTP.

When arriving at MEOS™ NAS, the data files will be stored in catalogs corresponding to file names. Catalogs are created automatically as needed. Data files are by default under automatic storage management.

This product is typically used in ground systems requiring high availability and high reliability.

MEOS™ NAS is MEOS™ Connect Ready for seamless integration under MEOS™ overall monitoring and control systems.

MEOS™ PPH

The PPH receives multiple incoming data streams. VCDUs from a network of ground stations are consolidated into the most complete data sets possible filling gaps and removing data overlaps, then processing VCDUs to satellite instrument Application Packets (APs). Partial APs are regenerated, duplicate data is removed, and the resulting data is distributed to multiple data users for further processing.

The PPH is ideal for implementing site diversity in Ka-Band and optical downlink GS networks.
