Kongsberg supplies training system worth roughly MNOK 29 to the Swedish Army

Combined Combat SimulatorKongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS has signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of a training system for the crew members of the Swedish Army's CV9040 armoured combat vehicle. The training system is an educational tool designed to enable users to acquire a basic knowledge of the system and to improve their shooting skills. Moreover, the system includes team training and tactical training functions.

The system will be used in Sweden to educate conscripts and it can be taken abroad in connection with international service.

Worth roughly MNOK 29, the contract was won against international competition. Kongsberg considers this contract an important continuation of the combat simulator work the company has done for the Norwegian Army. Kongsberg is confident that this contract will help position the company for other interesting opportunities in the international arena for this type of products.
