BK Systems
BK Systems is a joint venture between Barzan Holdings of Qatar and KONGSBERG of Norway, established in 2017.
Also known as Barzan Kongsberg Systems, the company was founded to operate as a high-technology enterprise, focused on the development and delivery of advanced digital capabilities for the defence and security sectors, as well as for maritime and energy industries.
The core objectives of BK Systems are to:
- Serve as a defence supplier within Qatar and internationally
- Provide technological solutions to other industries, both domestically and abroad
- Offer maintenance and support services to its clients
- Conduct research and development of new technologies
Headquartered in Qatar, BK Systems is currently led by CEO and General Manager Eirik Rekkavik.
