US type azimuthing thruster

Our range of azimuth thrusters offer superior manoeuvrability. The simple and robust construction provides high operational reliability along with easy maintenance, which result in a best possible total economy.

Superior manoeuvrability

The range comprises standard azimuth thruster units with input powers from 250 - 5000kW to deliver a bollard pull ranging from 11 to over 170 tonnes. Modular design allows the configuration, mounting type and size to be closely matched to user requirements. The US type is available with FP/CP propeller, open or ducted. For high propulsive efficiency contra-rotating propellers are available. Different propeller diameters are available to suit the vessel application.
