We are on the OSJ Awards shortlist again and every vote counts

After winning with the DPS i-series in 2018, Kongsberg Seatex is now well positioned to take home this year’s prestigious Offshore Support Journal (OSJ) Dynamic Positioning Award with the XPR 100 Long-range relative positioning solution. We have been shortlisted along with two other companies for the prize, which is open until February 5th for public voting here.

The annual dynamic positioning award is given to the developer of an innovative DP product or system, or contractor responsible for an especially innovative application of DP on a project. We were delighted to win last year, with the DPS i-series recognised for its tight technology integration, scalability and flexibility. This was further highlighted when the DPS i-series went on to win a Dredging & Port Construction award later in the year!

For the 2019 OSJ DP Award, our sophisticated new XPR 100 was chosen for the shortlist by OSJ’s expert judges, but it’s the public vote that defines the overall winner. Recognised as a disruptive technology, XPR 100 provides precision readings up to a distance of 10 km from target, introducing a new level of versatility for diverse DP operations. It has no moving parts so is more reliable, even in the most extreme weather conditions.

Like the DPS i-series, XPR 100 is a game-changing technology and we hope you can help us to get it more visibility in the market by voting for it to win the award. The winner will be revealed at the annual Offshore Support Journal Conference, Awards & Exhibition, which takes place 6-7 February 2019 in London.
