Senior Network Engineer - DevOps & Cybersecurity

Description of the role:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and securing our high-availability network systems, contributing to automation and resilience across hybrid cloud environments.




Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain a highly available global backend network infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and optimize network solutions in alignment with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Supplier coordination and support to 1st/2nd line teams
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and contribute to the design of secure, resilient network architectures.
  • Continuously assess and improve network performance, automation, and scalability.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • In-depth understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation (VRF, VLAN, MPLS).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go for infrastructure management.
  • Experience building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code pipelines and automating network operations.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices in securing network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, or VPC peering.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., NetFlow, SNMP, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
