Job Title: Section Manager, Field Operation

Department: AE&S Operation

Reporting to: Head of AE&S Operation

Location: Kongsberg Maritime Korea Busan(Jeong-gwan) Office

 

Main Work Tasks:

  • To be overall responsible for all activities of field operation in AE&S operation and to advice management of the possible threats and/or opportunities from outside as well as within the company.
  • Supporting management for budgeting of department including dimensioning of capacity, and managing budget execution control.
  • People Management: Development of individual skill and competence, and set-up individual goals, follow-up and evaluation of performance for subordinate.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with both shipyards and shipowners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Best Practices: Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement a continuous improvement approach to maintain competitive cost levels while ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Foster optimal collaboration with other organizations within the KM/KMK/KM subsidiary company and supporting functions to achieve seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Communication: Facilitate coordination and communication between different functions in order to improve the efficiency in the department.
  • Strategic Input: Liaison with management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans into the organization.
  • Implement KM/KMK company policy/strategy/goals into the organization.

 

Qualification/Experience:

  • Proven leadership capabilities with managing team(s), fostering collaboration, and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
