The Project Procurement is responsible for deliveries of Integrated and Energy solutions to maritime market, serving the yards and ship owners, in APAC region.
Under direction of Regional Procurement Manager and working with delivery team in Kongsberg Maritime.

Lead meaningful projects. Protechting People and Planet is our goal.

What you will be doing

  • Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks in the procurement process
  • Negotiate contract terms, prices, and conditions to secure favourable deals for goods and services
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Leading negotiations with suppliers and vendors
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • The ability to influence for on time delivery 
  • Obtain progress milestone certification and/or proof of delivery from suppliers/contractor to proceed for payment 
  • Other tasks as needed given by manager
  • Interface with China, Singapore & European suppliers experience

We think you should have

  • Min. Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years in procurement, supply chain work related skill, knowledge, or experience is an advantage.
  • EPC procurement experience will be added advantage
  • Willing to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A self starting attitude, ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • A detail-oriented approach that delivers consistently high-quality services to deadline within a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks
  • A high degree of computer literacy
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with others
  • The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
  • Willing to learn attitude
