Are you a DP Operator or deck officer ready for your next step? With us, you will be in forefront of enabling the business to achieve their objectives through a role as a Instructor, within Bridge and Control. You don’t have to be an instructor yet — your experience is what matters to us.

You will participate in the course deliveries- and development together with our highly competent team of Instructors, working closely with Ship Owners and Oil Majors. The great team you join focus on assisting our clients with their maritime knowledge to make them meet the competency requirements set out in the market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Course deliveries utilizing various types of Equipment and Simulators both on-site, remote and at other global locations.
  • Develop courses to reflect the training needs of our clients, new incidents or requirements from the stakeholders in the market.
  • Translate client’s needs together with their field expertise as a Product and Operative training instructor
  • Assist in the development of more sustainable learning opportunities

What are we looking for

Minimum requirements

  • Maritime background and minimum requirements according to STCW Table A-II/1 (CoC)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Comfortable using IT tools and hardware
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30 travel days per year (planned and ad-hoc/critical travel)
  • Dynamic Positioning certificate (NI or DNV)

Preferred qualifications (one or more is an advantage)

  • Deck Officer Certificate, minimum Class 2
  • Experience with moored installations and use of K-POS posmoor ATA
  • Broad operational experience from DP operations on various vessel types
  • Experience with use of various Kongsberg Maritime products

 

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
