HR Manager
We are looking for an operative HR Manager with passion for tech, business and people!
As an HR Manager at Kongsberg Maritime, you will be a key partner to our managers and employees, helping them succeed in their daily operations. Our teams in Kongsberg Maritime deliver market-leading products and services, and your role will be to support them with practical, hands-on HR expertise that enables business performance. This means that your day can be filled with the following activities:
- Provide operational HR support to managers across the business, including guidance on employee relations, compensation, and performance follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, and maintain a positive working environment in collaboration with line managers.
- Executing and driving HR processes such as sick-leave follow-up, annual salary reviews, and transactions in our Human capital Management system Workday.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, utilizing People data to support decision making and translating HR practices into business value.
Throughout all the activities you will be a part of a competent and supportive People-environment, where operational excellence and responsiveness is highly valued. In Norway you will work closely with other HR Managers, Employee Relations, People Services and get support from our expert panel within People’s Global Centre of Excellence. In addition, this role involves close collaboration with HR Business Partners, ensuring seamless integration of our People strategy and initiatives across teams. As a part of this collaborative People environment you will play a central role in ensuring smooth execution of our processes.

Formal criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, organizational development, business or a related field.
- Experience in operational HR role(s), preferably in larger organizations.
- Solid knowledge of local Norwegian legislation and an ability to translate it into practical solutions for the business.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
