Join us as Head of planning controls Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our EMEA Organization and add value to our delivery of services and competence to our regional and local customers.
The Head of Planning Controls role is established to provide overarching coordination across EMEA for the control groups; CanMan, Thrusters, Aquapilot, Waterjet controls and Con-line of products), acting as the primary link between local coordinators in EMEA locations, KM Business Units (Finland, Sweden & Norway) and our customers ensuring seamless integration of Regional service/project activities.
This position maintains a comprehensive, Birdseye view of projects and service tasks that do not fall within the scope of local coordination.
Experience from the Propulsion product lines is a very strong advantage, and all personel from any location are encouraged to apply.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The Head of Planning Controls is expected to collaborate with product lines/disciplines across the product verticals In P&H Controls (CanMan, Waterjets, Aquapilot, PTC , Thrusters) when needed for the service/project to ensure proper planning and execution of projects and service in the region of EMEA.
Proactive customer contact and coordination of personel from locations globally and in region to ensure timely execution of services and projects in EMEA within the defined product categoies
By using cross product groups collaboration, and standardising ways of working, the Head of Planning Controls ensures consistent execution in line with organisational priorities and compliance requirements. And to ensure that we have the correct local capabilities in place with alignment to local and regional market.
Expectations of the role (but not limited to):
- Maintain a bird’s eye view of global service demand (cases, work orders, programs) and available capacity. Publish a monthly cross‑regional load & risk overview using CRM/D365. Standardize categories/KPIs so data is comparable across regions.
- Set the standard for best practice in CRM Service Desk including emails, schedule board, resource bookings and KPIs according to business needs.
- Collect lessons learned from the coordinator team and update templates, best practices, checklist etc. Establish a One Note Library or similar with the local coordinators in region and Business Unit.
- Ensure that coordination is done in accordance with governance and coordination practices in KM
- Work closely together with commercial owners and local / regional coordinators to ensure that correct competence is assigned to each project at the best and most competitive way, ensuring the best cost alternative for the client
- Maintain Skillmapping and Birdseye view of competence development across product / Systems within CanMan, DB, Thrusters, Aquapilot, Waterjet controls and Con-line of products
- Be a part of the support operation and ensure that all communication and customer requests are given the right attention/priority and response.
