Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a significant impact?
We are seeking a passionate ESG Controller to strengthen our business through innovative environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and reporting. In this key role, you will be at the forefront of KONGSBERG’s sustainability efforts - helping a small, dedicated team create a big impact across the organization.
As part of our sustainability and risk team, you will work closely with functions, divisions, and subsidiaries across KONGSBERG, giving you a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts from many different disciplines and operational areas. Your work will directly support our strategic sustainability goals, contribute to shaping our ESG reporting framework, and drive continuous improvement across our global footprint.
We are looking for a structured and analytical individual with a strong interest in sustainability — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working across teams and sites, and is adaptable enough to support other central functions when needed. If you want to help accelerate our sustainability transition while navigating a wide range of exciting projects and challenges, this role offers that opportunity.
Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:
- As part of the team, ensure compliance with relevant ESG legislation and standards
- Secure and maintain effective data integrity and internal control systems related to ESG processes and reporting
- Create models and analysis for CO2 emissions based on operational and business scenarios
- Accountable for climate accounting
- Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reporting
- Ensure quarterly and annual reporting readiness and routines
- Analyze ESG data and provide recommendations for improvements
- Participate in other initiatives supporting the company’s strategic goals, such as process improvements, or other internal projects.
- Ensure compliance with EU Taxonomy by mapping business practices to taxonomy classifications while facilitating transparency in reporting

- Creative and solution-oriented with a proactive approach
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in Norwegian and English
What we can offer
- A meaningful role where you can make a real impact in a forward‑leaning organization
- A supportive and collaborative work environment with colleagues who share knowledge and help each other succeed
- Professional development through varied tasks, learning opportunities and access to internal competence networks
- Competitive terms and conditions
