Coastal Monitoring develops an autonomous surface vessel equipped with integrated sensors for ocean and environmental monitoring. The project combines mechanics, electronics, embedded software and software development.
Students work on the development and integration of sensors, navigation systems and autonomous functionality on a maritime platform. The project provides experience with how advanced autonomous systems can be applied to environmental and ocean monitoring applications.
