LEARNING OBJECTIVES After completing the course, the operators will gain an understanding of the design and function of the system so that the equipment can be utilized to an optimum, to ensure continued safe and efficient operations and hence commercial viability. The operator will be given a good knowledge of the alarm situations that can arise and how to act, and what influences they may have on the performance of the vessel.
