REMOTE SOLUTION
The course will be conducted remotely with live instructor through Video conferencing, and the participants will get access to generic Software with Kongsberg K-Pos 8 SW DP system with use of DP Trainers SOP (Screen operator panel).
After the course the successfull participant are able to operate the K-Pos DP system.
TARGET GROUP
DP Operators who need familiarisation with the Kongsberg K-POS 8 SW DP system.
We can also offer vessel specific familiarisation courses on your own vessel software. Please contact your local training site for more information.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Skilled DP Operators of DP systems and DP operations.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
Compliant, but not limited to IMCA 117, appendix 1, section 2. With special attention to specific K-POS SW.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
To have the best outcome of the course, you should have access to a PC with a Monitor of minimum 22” or a lap-top with an additional monitor of minimum 22”. Systems recommended are:
An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (4G/LTE)
Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth
A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in
