EXAM OBJECTIVES
The exam verifies the skills and competence of a Deck officer against the requirements given in the competence standard:
Emneplan for Sertifikatprøve for dekks- og maskinoffiserer Iht. STCW regel II og III
TARGET GROUP
Deck Officers or others who do not meet the requirement for sailing time in order to renew their competence certificate
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Any Deck officer certificate class, expired or valid
EXAM ANDCERTIFICATION PROCESS
The test center will upon receipt of the application form send a notification containing the following:
Exam date and time
Exam place and Terms & conditions
Recertification requirements
Standard for certification 0032, Appendix A: Examination regulations
Time schedule for examination
