Model

The electrical power plant is based on a 6.6 kV system, powered by four medium-speed diesel generators, each rated at 13.9 MVA. In addition, the vessel is equipped with two 440 V high-speed diesel emergency generators, each rated at 750 kVA.

The control and automation systems include advanced power management, pump control, and propulsion control systems. A comprehensive steam plant is also modeled, featuring two large oil-fired boilers and an integrated feed water system.

Operator panels are available both in the control room and on the bridge, including steering panels, providing a realistic training environment.

Compliant with industry requirements

Kongsberg Maritime simulator models exceed the requirements outlined in the STCW Convention, Regulation I/12, and comply with DNV’s standard DNV-ST-0033 for Maritime Simulator Systems.
