This visit provided an exciting opportunity for these aspiring maritime professionals to connect classroom theory with real-world application. The students explored Kongsberg Maritime’s core technologies, advanced training environment, and state-of-the-art systems that are helping to shape the future of offshore and maritime operations.
From Theory to Practice
A highlight of the visit was a live demonstration of our Dynamic Positioning (DP) system in action, led by instructor Raphael Salles. The students were able to experience firsthand how DP systems function within a simulator environment, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge with practical understanding.
“These experiences help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world operations, empowering students with a more comprehensive and applied view of offshore systems,” said Salles.
