Kongsberg Maritime will exhibit at the 2024 edition of Navalia, the International Shipbuilding and Maritime Industry Exhibition, in Vigo Spain. We provide technology and engineering in support of the fisheries industry and for fishing vessels to help save fuel costs and avoid by-catch.

Kongsberg Maritime will showcase its technology, engineering, products and systems in the fishing vessel segment at the 2024 Navalia exhibition in Vigo, Spain.

Kongsberg Maritime is a recognised leader in fishing vessel design and engineering. In 2023, Arctic Fjord, a 99m fishing vessel featuring design and systems by Kongsberg Maritime, received the prestigious Maritime Achievement Award from classification society DNV. The vessel features innovative design and naval architecture that borrows from the offshore energy field, and it has a crew of 152.

Fishery and Aquaculture designs

Our ship design services offer buyers the NVC-series of vessels for fishery and aquaculture. These feature excellent performance and seakeeping characteristics, with hydrodynamics optimised for high speed and low fuel consumption. We supply a range of active sonars, echo sounders, catch monitoring instruments and transducers for the world's fishing fleet.
