Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Propulsion & Engines Division. In this role, you will be a key interface between our manufacturing teams and strategic suppliers. Your mission will be to ensure the quality, cost, and delivery performance of supplied products, contributing directly to operational excellence across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that supplier manufacturing processes meet quality, delivery, and compliance standards.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of critical supplier orders in Spain and Portugal.

  • Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Maintain and oversee QHSE management systems at supplier sites (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

  • Apply problem-solving tools (8D, root cause analysis) to prevent and resolve deviations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product Centers and the Supplier Development Organization.

  • Support the continuous improvement and standardization of supplier processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Quality or related fields).

  • Solid understanding of QHSE systems and international quality standards.

  • Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, etc.).

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) for use in an international working environment.

  • Availability to travel regularly across Spain and Portugal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with suppliers in propulsion, engines, or automotive sectors.

  • Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 standards.

  • Prior involvement in supplier quality management or development roles.
