Service & Support Engineer – Mechanical/Hydraulics - JR-P6653647
We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Service & Support Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and hydraulics. You will work with advanced deck machinery systems for offshore and naval vessels, powered by high-pressure hydraulics and electric drives. While the main part of your role will be office-based technical support, you will also travel internationally to support our global fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support from the office as your primary responsibility.
- Travel internationally for service, commissioning, and upgrades (approx. 50 – 80 days per year).
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems, both on-site and remotely.
- Support customers, field engineers, and internal teams with documentation and guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
Qualifications
- Practical, hands-on technical experience is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field service experience. Experience with hydraulics is essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Proficient in English.
- Experience with CAD, PLM, or ERP systems is a plus.
