Responsibilities
- Cultivate and nurture customer relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their technical and commercial needs.
- Direct sales, business development and implement regional sales plans aligned with company goals, focusing on key marine industry segments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales objectives.
- Formulate and execute business plan to enhance market share and profitability.
- Set clear sales goals and quotas, driving accountability within the team.
- Create effective sales plans to meet profitability objectives while ensuring alignment with company vision.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive operational sales efforts in designated areas and with specific customers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback to internal teams, management and systems. Meet or exceed KPIs.
- Engaged in comprehensive account management, utilizing consultative selling techniques to meet customer needs.
- Prepare quotations and lead contract negotiations.
- Coordinate customer activities with internal sales resources at KONGSBERG.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and managed team performance through regular feedback.
- Lead a sales team to meet sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
- Proven sales and marketing experience within the maritime industry.
- Proven track record of managing a sales team with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience of leading a Sales Office in Indonesia is advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer negotiation, sales, compliance and commercial processes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
