Sales Support Coordinator

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. During the operational lifetime of more than 30,000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.

1. Job Overview:
As a Sales Support Coordinator in our Global Customer Support division, you will support the regional sales team, strengthen customer relationships, and help identify new business opportunities. Your role includes proactive planning of overhauls and dockings, and coordinating spares, services, retrofits, and refits across Kongsberg Maritime’s product portfolio.

2. Qualifications & Experience:
➢ Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
➢ 4 + years of relevant experience in marine or other related industry
➢ Knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s products
➢ Proficiency in MS Office and experience of using CRM & ERP systems is desired

4. Roles & Responsibilities:
➢ Assist Aftermarket Sales Managers in identifying overhaul/maintenance opportunities using tools like Master Vessel, IPDB, IP Miner, and Operational Veritas
➢ Analyse data to prioritize high-potential customers, focusing on Maintenance Planning (MP)
➢ Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
➢ Prepare maintenance planning packs covering the full KM portfolio
➢ Coordinate sales activities with internal and external stakeholders
➢ Track and update CRM opportunities in close collaboration with Sales Managers Kongsberg Maritime, India
➢ Lead regular meetings to review sales opportunities
➢ Support and attend customer meetings as needed
➢ Ensure smooth handover to delivery/aftermarket teams
➢ Drive process improvements and optimize use of tools like Dynamics 365
➢ Support quoting and bundling for spares, upgrades, field service, and overhauls
➢ Create proposals/quotations based on sales input
➢ Address customer queries and resolve issues
➢ Maintain and update customer master data
➢ Monitor outstanding quotations, orders, and debts; provide weekly updates
➢ Escalate issues to KAM, CRM, or HOD when necessary
