Operations Buyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Operations Buyer. We are seeking an Operations Buyer to join our Supply Chain department. In this role, you will manage material supply for both new sales and aftermarket projects. You will work closely with your team and interact with various functions within Supply Chain, assembly, project management, and spare parts sales. Building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally is crucial.

Key accountabilities:

  • Receiving and evaluating quotes
  • Ensuring purchase prices align with project budgets
  • Maintaining ERP system 
  • Handling delivery issues and expediting suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries with right quality.
  • Securing material
  • Engaging and leading Business review meetings
  • Managing invoices

Qualifications:

  • Academic background in logistics and/or finance
  • Experience in industry, logistics, and purchasing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably BAAN)
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and adherence to purchasing processes
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a results-oriented approach
  • Initiative-driven and proactive in driving work forward
