Head of Aftermarket Sales – WaterJet

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Head of Aftermarket Sales – WaterJet, reporting to the VP P&H Aftermarket Sales within Global Customer Support. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the aftermarket sales strategy for our WaterJet portfolio, with a strong focus on lifecycle value, customer satisfaction, and close collaboration with the Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) team.

You will be responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring that our WaterJet customers receive consistent, high-quality support throughout the operational life of their vessels. The role includes a dotted-line collaboration with the WaterJet GSM team and may involve selected new sales responsibilities in specific countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the aftermarket sales strategy for WaterJet, with a focus on lifecycle value, customer satisfaction, and proactive engagement.
  • Drive order intake and upsell opportunities across the installed base by promoting upgrades, service agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with GSM and regional teams to proactively identify and develop WaterJet opportunities, particularly in areas where dedicated focus can unlock additional value.
  • Support key strategic programs, working alongside technical and sales teams to secure wins.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through a deep understanding of operational needs and regional dynamics.
  • Identify market trends, customer requirements, and new business opportunities to support continuous growth.
  • Contribute to a high-performing sales culture that reflects our values and behaviors.
  • Monitor sales performance, margins, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles within the maritime or industrial sectors, preferably in propulsion or aftermarket services.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales growth and customer value.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and geographies in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and results-oriented.
  • Fluent in English and willing to travel as required.
