KONGSBERG’s PROTECTOR journey began with early adoption by the U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams, where the M151 PROTECTOR entered service in the early 2000s. A defining milestone followed with the U.S. military’s Commonly Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) program—one of the world’s largest Remote Weapon System acquisition efforts.
