PROTECTOR RS4 is a flexible remote weapon station that mounts heavy machine guns and automatic grenade launchers, in combination with either a coaxial gun or a missile. It is suitable for all platform types and is widely fielded on tactical vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and naval vessels.
Combat‑proven for more than two decades, the PROTECTOR RS4 has been continuously refined through operational feedback and close collaboration with armed forces worldwide. It delivers trusted performance, high reliability, and enhanced operator awareness for demanding missions and environments.
The RS4 supports a wide range of weapons, including 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm, and 12.7 mm machine guns, as well as 40 mm grenade launchers, with optional anti‑tank guided missiles or a coaxial machine gun.
Designed for high‑intensity operations, the PROTECTOR RS4 integrates an advanced sensor suite with high‑resolution day cameras, thermal imagers, and laser range finders. Its stabilized 4‑axis Detached Line of Sight (DLOS) architecture allows the operator to maintain a steady view of the target independent of weapon movement, ensuring smooth tracking and accurate fire on the move.
All PROTECTOR weapon systems support both wired and wireless control and can be mounted on manned or robotic platforms. When combined with PROTECTOR Counter‑UAS software, the RS4 supports C‑UAS missions for the protection of personnel and critical infrastructure. The common PROTECTOR Fire Control System enables integration with battlefield management systems and defensive aids such as laser warning or active protection systems, ensuring adaptability to evolving threats.
