PROTECTOR RS6 is an up‑gunned remote weapon station that mounts lightweight medium‑caliber cannons in combination with missiles and a coaxial machine gun. It is designed for heavier tactical vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and combat vehicles.
Built with weapons flexibility at its core, the PROTECTOR RS6 supports a wide range of effectors, including anti‑tank missiles, short‑range air‑defense weapons, and Counter‑UAS solutions. This enables tailored configurations for diverse mission profiles, from combat‑vehicle integration to mobile fire‑support platforms.
The RS6 is a bolt‑on system with no intrusion into the vehicle compartment, making it an ideal choice for platforms requiring substantial firepower while preserving maximum troop capacity and internal volume.
Designed for high‑intensity operations, the PROTECTOR RS6 integrates an advanced sensor suite with high‑resolution day cameras, thermal imagers, and laser range finders. Its stabilized 4‑axis Detached Line of Sight (DLOS) architecture allows operators to maintain a stable view of the target independent of weapon movement, ensuring smooth tracking and accurate fire on the move.
All PROTECTOR weapon systems support both wired and wireless control and can be mounted on manned or robotic platforms. When combined with PROTECTOR Counter‑UAS software, the RS6 supports C‑UAS missions for the protection of personnel and critical infrastructure. The common PROTECTOR Fire Control System enables integration with battlefield management systems and defensive aids such as laser warning or active protection systems, ensuring adaptability to evolving threats.
