KONGSBERG and Terma sign collaboration agreement

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) and Terma have executed an agreement reflecting the companies’ plans to develop selected areas of cooperation within defined system and service portfolios.

In today’s geopolitical situation, working together to provide advanced defence capabilities faster in support of national and allied interests is a significant advantage. The two companies have long and extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering solutions in both the commercial as well as the defence sectors.

Terma and KONGSBERG have historically collaborated in numerous fields, such as the recently announced European Defence Fund FACT project. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding, paving the way for the next phase of collaboration.

“Broadening our cooperation is a natural step for our companies, particularly in the context of a closer cooperation between the Nordics countries. Combining our complementary capabilities, technologies and resources will enable us to provide world leading systems and solutions to our global customers and partners,” says Pamela Willgohs, Senior Vice President of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

“KONGSBERG and Terma share perspectives in many areas when it comes to securing our societies at a critical point in time. The ability to form strong industrial partnerships is a key enabler to address the needs of our customers,” says Steen Lynenskjold, Executive Vice President, Government & Partnerships at Terma.
