Cost-efficient single beam mapping echo sounder
EA440 is a high performance, cost efficient, hydrographic wide band single beam echo sounder. The EA440 echo sounder is developed for hydrographic use in shallow to medium depth waters. It has highly versatile functionality, such as for side-scan and sub-bottom surveys in shallow waters. EA440 supports transducers with frequencies from 30 to 500 kHz, which makes EA440 ideal for shallow to medium water depths. Transducers with frequencies down to 10 kHz can be used, but range limited to max 3000 meters.
User friendly and intuitive software
The EA440 software is a user friendly and intuitive program that can be run on Windows computer, laptops or tablets. It has all capabilities included to ensure that the system has the optimum performance: full configuration capability of the system, various BIST and plots for diagnostics, logging of raw files with configuration and position data included, data export in various formats. Real-time operation provides advanced bottom detection and map display for tracking coverage.
