MetOp-SG-A1 Satellite successfully launched with key contributions from KONGSBERG

The MetOp-SG-A1 satellite, developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) and EUMETSAT, has been successfully launched aboard the Ariane 6 rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (‘KONGSBERG’) contributed critical onboard mechanisms and electronics to the satellite, as well as components for the launch vehicle, continuing its long-standing role in Europe’s most important institutional space programs.

KONGSBERG fullfører N3X-konstellasjonen

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) har nå fullført sin N3X-satellittkonstellasjon etter en vellykket oppskytning av mikrosatellittene ARVAKER 2 og 3. Satellittene ble sendt opp fra California med SpaceX' Transporter-14-oppskyting. N3X-konstellasjonen er utviklet for å styrke Norges evne til å overvåke maritime områder.

KONGSBERG skal levere 280 mikrosatellitter til SpinLaunchs kommunikasjonskonstellasjon

SpinLaunch har valgt Kongsberg NanoAvionics (‘KONGSBERG’) som sin eksklusive satellittleverandør for sitt bredbåndsnettverk i lavjordbane (LEO), Meridian Space. Partene har signert en kontrakt på leveranse av 280 mikrosatellitter verdt EUR 122,5 millioner.
