We offer two different types of summer internships:

Department internships

Join a specific department and become part of the team for the summer. You will contribute to ongoing work, gain insight into daily operations and experience how your field of study is applied in practice.

Summer projects

Work together with other students on a dedicated summer project. These projects are designed to solve real challenges and give you the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines while developing innovative solutions.

Find your summer internship project

As a summer intern at KONGSBERG, you will work on real-world engineering challenges alongside other students and experienced professionals. The projects span software development, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, simulation, robotics, advanced manufacturing and product development.

Who can apply?

Our summer internships are primarily aimed at students within science, technology, engineering and related disciplines. However, we also offer opportunities in selected staff and support functions, giving students from a wider range of educational backgrounds the chance to gain valuable experience at KONGSBERG.

The summer internship is offered at selected KONGSBERG locations in Norway.
