The Acoustic Electric Monitoring system (AECM) uses acoustic and electric monitoring techniques to non-intrusively monitor the subsea rotating equipment.
Operational efficiency
The system provides the operator with Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This gives the operator the capability to head off issues earlier, diagnose and tune pump/compressor performance for greater efficiency.

- Non-intrusive installation
- Uses both hydrophones (detect equipment vibrations) and electromagnetic antennas (sense changes in electric fields)
- Early warning if a failure is under development
- Real-time diagnostics and KPI's
- Applicable to green- and brown field sites
