EM & SIS fundamentals course

LEARNING OBJECTIVES


Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of EM multibeam theory.
• Handle EM hardware and connections.
• Navigate the software structure (K-controller and SIS).
• Apply essential practices in SIS, including planning and tool usage.
• Understand calibration theory and execute calibration of the system.
• Verify installation parameters and configure runtime settings.
• Assess basic data quality and conduct initial troubleshooting.
• Seek help and support effectively.

Surveyors, operators and utilizing EM multibeam systems.

Basic acoustic knowledge is advantageous.
