Field Service Engineer - Energy

Position Description:

  • Service and commission KM Energy Systems onboard vessels.
  • Troubleshooting via Phone and Email support lines.
  • Execute service assignments as requested by the customer.
  • Timely and accurate completion of service reports, timesheets and expense reports following service assignments per Work Order
  • Production and updates to As-Built Documentation and Drawings
  • Developing own qualifications through internal/external training courses
  • Support sales and marketing with technical information
  • Interface with customer and internal engineering groups
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-70%



  • Technical Degree, Skilled worker/Certificate of apprenticeship within the field
  • Low voltage certificate or High voltage certificate (Allowed to work with electrical system up to 1000VAC/1500VDC or above 1000VAC(High voltage)
  • Electrician (Experience:4y +), Drive/VFD Technician, LV or HV Switchboard builder, Battery Technician
