Kongsberg Maritime is offering an exciting opportunity as Vice President of Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) Solutions – a strategic leadership role at the forefront of maritime innovation in our Emerging Solutions division. This role will be tasked with expanding our position in USV solutions. With landmark deliveries such as Yara Birkeland, Asko Autobarge, and Reach Remote, Kongsberg Maritime is uniquely positioned to shape the future of unmanned surface vessels across both commercial and naval domains.

Your mission:
As VP USV Solutions, you will take on a key role, reporting to EVP Emerging Solutions, and leading one of a handful of strategic priorities that will span across divisions in Kongsberg Maritime.

• Develop and execute USV strategy, aligning with Kongsberg Maritime’s broader innovation and growth goals.
• Build and coordinate cross-divisional teams, leveraging resources across the company to act as one unified force.
• Drive innovation and delivery, ensuring that new USV solutions are technically advanced, commercially viable, and strategically aligned.
• Inspire and influence, working closely with product teams, sales, and technology experts to bring the best USV products to the market and motivate stakeholders across all levels to support and prioritize USV initiatives.
• Champion market relevance, ensuring our USV offerings meet evolving customer needs and industry standards.
  
  

We think you should have

• Leadership experience from complex roles including responsibility for several disciplines leading experts and departments outside your field of expertise.
• Experience from commercial roles identifying and developing new opportunities with proven positive direct impact on bottom line results.
• Experience delivering projects that include elements of innovation and new technology, managing risk and profit.
• Experience in B2B business providing technology solutions.
• Experience leading and working in cross-functional teams and influencing and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• A true passion for and interest in new innovative technology and the creativity and ability to apply this in a business setting
• Relevant education within science, engineering within a relevant discipline.
