1. Job Overview
As a Senior Sales Manager in our Global Sales & Marketing division, you will involve in sales and marketing of the Simulation portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. This position is a part of Global Sales Team, which is headquartered in Horten, Norway.
2. Qualifications & Experience
➢ Graduate or relevant higher education.
➢ MBA in sales & marketing will be preferred.
➢ 10+ years of experience in Sales in Maritime technologies preferred.
➢ Technical background in Maritime Technologies including Simulation is an advantage.
➢ Well versed in cross-cultural sales strategies and operational practices.

4. Roles & Responsibilities
➢ Drive sales growth and business development for Kongsberg Maritime simulation solutions across South Asia, primarily focusing on India.
➢ Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, including turnkey projects and strategic partnerships.
➢ Lead customer engagements, presentations, and negotiations with maritime academies, naval institutions, and government bodies.
➢ Collaborate with System and Services (S&S) as well as Product teams to ensure seamless delivery and post-sales support.
➢ Expand Business and Opportunities within key accounts by acquiring a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
➢ Secure new and repeat sales/contracts in the assigned Segment/territory.
➢ Execute the sales strategies defined within the four simulation business segments (Offshore, Merchant, Navy) in your market area.
➢ Strengthen Kongsberg Maritime Simulation’s position and presence in the market in the form of meetings with existing and potential customers; participate in local and regional conferences & exhibitions, working with resellers (where applicable) and other Kongsberg entities
➢ Manage the sales process in cooperation with the Regional Sales Director, Bid Team and other Simulation departments.
➢ Perform sales contract negotiations, closing and handover.
5. Travel
Travel extensively across assigned regions to meet clients, drive business development, and support sales operations.
