Operating Panel Mk4
The optional Mk4 Operating Panel for the Simrad sonar systems contains all necessary control functions for normal operation of the sonar. It is designed for long life in a demanding maritime environment.
The controls provided by the operating panel are arranged in logical functional groups. This arrangement offers you straightforward operation with fast access to all relevant functionality. All the functionality the sonar system provides can be accessed using the trackball on the operating panel and the menu system shown in the display presentation.
The Mk4 Operating Panel is connected to the Processor Unit with a USB cable. A dedicated power supply unit is not required. The operating panel includes remote control functionality for toggling the sonar system on and off.

Logical functional groups
(A) Turn the sonar system on and off.
(B) Connect any USB device, for example a wireless mouse or a storage device.
(C) Choose between your four most common presentation modes.
(D) Choose which sonar function to be applied to each function button.
(E) Use the ball and the mouse buttons to operate the cursor and make selections in the menu system.
(F) Lower and hoist the transducer.
(G) Select common sonar functions.
(H) Choose which sonar function to be applied to each rotary button.
