This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements across key KONGSBERG survey software. Participants will explore updates to SIS5 and the EM2042 platform, gain hands on familiarity with the Kongsberg Record Viewer (KRV), and dive into the features of SBP 29 and EMSBP for sub bottom profiling applications. The session also includes a clear training pathway overview to support operators, engineers, and project teams as they build and maintain system proficiency.

- SIS 5 / EM 2042 Updates – What’s new, workflow improvements, operational considerations, and roadmap highlights.
- Kongsberg Record Viewer (KRV) – Inspecting data files, capabilities for troubleshooting and QC, and best practices.
- SBP29 – Demystify the SBP29 by outlining its unique features and examining how key settings influence the data, giving you a clearer starting point for using the system in your applications.
- EMSBP – Overview of what the EM Sub Bottom Profiler is, as an add on to EM304 and EM124 multibeam systems, how it is installed, operation and results.
- Training Overview – Overview training offerings for crews and support teams and outline available resources.
This workshop ensures participants leave with improved system understanding, updated technical knowledge, and clear guidance on how to expand their operational competence.
