Technical Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Project Manager, reporting to Team Manager, Technical Support in Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of the Technical Support team. Within the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and handle Kongsberg Maritime’s project within propulsion products to internal and external customers.

As our Technical Project Manager, you will contribute with technical assistance to cross-functional projects and to our sales organization. An essential part of the role will be taking an active part in developing technical documentation for our division Global Customer Support. Your contribution will be important to ensure that the organization’s objectives and goals are delivered.

Key accountabilities

Our product portfolio ranges from conventional propellers, azimuth propellers, gearboxes, tunnel thrusters to remote control systems. You will be performing services through a product’s lifecycle span, from commissioning to legacy and into retirement.

  • Prepare technical documentation and support required for project and work orders
  • Manage quotations, purchase orders, and preparation for invoicing
  • Single point of contact between Kongsberg Maritime and our customers
  • Quality assurance and documentation of work orders

Qualifications and experience

  • Project management experience, mechanical and hydraulically technical knowledge
  • Work experience from commercial/customer-oriented roles
  • Good oral and written English and Norwegian communication skills
  • Technical Education
