PLM IT Engineer (Teamcenter)
We are looking for a PLM IT Engineer to strengthen our IT team and play a key role in developing, operating, and improving our PLM platform.
You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for both system ownership and development, working closely with engineering and other business areas. The role combines application management, technical configuration, and continuous improvement of a business-critical platform.
Key responsibilities
You will work hands-on with the operation, configuration, and development of Teamcenter, contributing to a stable and future-oriented PLM platform:
- Manage and maintain the Teamcenter / PLM platform and ensure stable, reliable and secure operations
- Configure, maintain, and further develop Teamcenter solutions
- Contribute to automation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the platform
- Manage and support integrations between PLM, CAD, and other enterprise systems
- Participate in upgrades, testing, and release management across environments
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide deep technical support
- Take part in day-to-day operational tasks related to application and underlying environments
- Collaborate closely with business functions, IT colleagues, and external vendors
Qualifications
We do not expect you to know everything — relevant experience and a willingness to learn are most important.
Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. IT, information systems, technology, or similar), or relevant professional experience
- Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM or enterprise system
- Background in application management, IT operations, or technical systems
- Experience with configuration, scripting, or development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance; Norwegian citizenship is required
Nice to have
- Familiarity with release processes, change management, or IT operations
- Teamcenter development (BMIDE, ITK, SOA, Active Workspace)
- Experience with system integrations and APIs
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Experience with CAD integrations (NX, Inventor, or similar)
