We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to join our team with the intention of transitioning into a full-time role. This position is designed as an extended, hands-on working interview, providing exposure to core financial operations and close collaboration with experienced team members ahead of upcoming retirements.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to develop both technical accounting skills and strong business partnering capabilities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support project controlling activities, including tracking costs, monitoring budgets, and assisting with financial analysis
- Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Compile and analyze data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements
- Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and validate financial information from various stakeholders
- Proactively follow up with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of required data
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- Effectively coordinates with teams across the business to obtain necessary information, even when priorities differ
- Translates gathered data into clear, accurate, and timely financial reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate cross-functional coordination
- Proficiency in Excel (experience with financial systems is a plus)

Pay Range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour, DOE
Work Location: Lynnwood office
(Hybrid work schedule may be available at manager’s discretion based on business needs, job performance, and the successful completion of onboarding and training requirements in the first 3 – 6 months.)
