K-Sim® VTS is a comprehensive Vessel Traffic Service simulator developed to deliver high-quality training for VTS operators. Imitating all the main VTS equipment and fuctions, instructors can create basic to advanced training scenarios in different navigational scenarios, including emergency situations. Built on Kongsberg Norcontrol’s Maritime Domain Awareness solution, it replicates real-world conditions to enhance situational awareness, decision-making, and communication between ship and shore.

Compliant with IALA Guidelines

The simulator comply and exceeds IALA's (International Association of Lighthouse Authorities) Guideline 1027 and recommended VTS personnel training for V-103 model courses, including V-103/1 and V-103/2.

Integrated Training Environment

Combining VTS operator stations with K-Sim Navigation bridge simulators, the system enables realistic traffic patterns and communication exercises for both operators and navigators.
