Team Manager Spares & Services Sales, Sensing Solutions

To further strengthen our team and scale the organization for growth, we are looking for a Team Manager to join us in Trondheim. In this role, you will have the responsibility of following up the Spares and Service Sales team and be a key stakeholder in the day-to-day operations in the Customer Support department.

Our Sensing Solutions product lines contain systems like K-Gauge Custody Transfer System (CTS), K-Gauge Cargo Level System (CLS), Bearing Wear Condition Monitoring, Sentry®, MetaPower®, and numerous sensor applications installed on thousands of vessels.

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes’ services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 3000 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts to secure availability and predictability to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team and follow up activities for Sensing Solutions Spares & Services Sales.
  • Secure an excellent work environment and development of individuals and team
  • Be a part of the support operation and ensure that all communication and customer requests are given the right attention/priority and response
  • Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the Kongsberg Maritime Quality Management System (QMS/HSE/Security)
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and certified.
  • Knowledge and understanding of both GCS overall and department goals & KPI’s. Contribute to the fulfilment of these.
  • Participate in improving GCS operations, as required. Contribute to internal improvements and take charge in implementing changes.
  • Be a decision maker in complex internal and external discussions within your area of responsibility
  • Extensive customer contact and cooperation with our Global Customer Support teams
  • Travel as required

Qualifications and experience

  • Technical and/or Administrative and/or Commercial background/education (e.g. Bachelor or similar). Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education.
  • Management skills and ability to work with others in a team
  • Good understanding of project economy. Profit and loss responsibility.
  • Knowledge of KM Sensing Solutions products and customer segments is an advantage
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English written and oral
