We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Field Service Energy team! In this role, you'll be traveling around the world, providing service, troubleshooting, maintaining and commissioning new systems, as well as offering technical support for our customers. You'll be part of a global team working with energy products like switchgear, batteries and converters.

When you’re not on the road, you’ll be working alongside colleagues to support our customers and team members. We’re a team that truly helps each other succeed and shares knowledge across the world.

Key responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of switchgear, drives and battery solutions for new and upgrade projects
  • Service, maintenance, and modification of energy systems (switchgear, drives and battery solutions)
  • Assist with internal/ external IAT and FAT
  • Provide technical support for KM delivered energy systems worldwide
  • Offer in-house technical support to both internal and external customers

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant certificate like group L (Electrician) or group H (Energy Technician)
  • Experience with switchgear, drives and protection relay test equipment is an advantage
  • Field experience with maritime electrical systems
  • Willingness to travel at short notice
  • Meet health requirements for offshore work
  • Meet requirements for worldwide work visa
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
