As a Senior Software Engineer at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, there are many paths to explore – whether you’re drawn to architecture, system integration, technical leadership, platform development or domain ownership. In every role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how our systems are built, connected and sustained. 

Some lead architectural work and define interfaces between complex sensor systems., others develop control and guidance software for missiles, naval platforms and ground-based systems. Many focus on test automation, simulation and tool development – or build platforms that make the entire organisation more efficient.

Through model-based development, software can be automatically generated from models, improving traceability and reducing the risk of human error in complex systems.

“We need people who take ownership – not only of the technical solutions, but of how we collaborate across disciplines,” says Laug.
