Mette Toft Bjørgen is the Executive Vice President of Finance for Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, a business area within Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (KONGSBERG).
Bjørgen joined KONGSBERG in 2021, and came from the role as Chief Financial Officer at Ekornes AS, a Norwegian furniture manufacturer with global sales and head office in the northwest of Norway. Bjørgen’s previous experience includes Chief Financial Officer at Viken Skog SA (2015-2019), various positions within Performance Management, Strategy and Portfolio Analysis at Equinor (2003-2015), and Investment Banking at Carnegie ASA.
Directorships outside KONGSBERG include Statnett SF’s PK and Ringerike Sparebank PK.
Bjørgen holds a MSC in Economics and Business Administration from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
