Eirik Tord Jensen is the Executive Vice President of Land Systems, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, a business area within Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (KONGSBERG).
Prior to his assignment, Jensen was the President Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace USA and President of the Norwegian-American Defense and Homeland Security Industry Council.
Since joining Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace in 2015 as Director Business Development, Jensen has worked on different tasks including being a part of the team overseeing Kongsberg’s acquisitions of Patria Plc and AIM Norway AS.
He held the position as Executive Vice President Space & Surveillance before moving to the U.S.
Jensen graduated from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy in 1988. He left the Navy in 1995 as a commanding officer on Fast Patrol Boats and started working for Teleplan within development of Command Control & Information Systems. He established among others Teleplan Globe and managed that company until he took the position as CEO of Saab Technologies Norway in 2011.
