Kongsberg Gruppen ASA has today acquired Odfjell Consulting AS, an entity within Odfjell Drilling AS.
Odfjell Consulting provides services in integrated rig and operations management technologies and consulting. The products provide upstream operators and service companies with management support and tools towards optimized and integrated operations, including development and implementation.
“The addition of Odfjell Consulting AS’s technologies and consulting adds strategy and operations management expertise to KONGSBERG’s products and services. The combination will provide customers with complete services for their optimized upstream activities,” says Pål Helsing, President of Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies AS.
“This move allows Odfjell Consulting AS to continue our growth internationally and will offer our existing customers synergies with Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies,” says Torbjørn Forthun, Managing Director Odfjell Consulting.
Odfjell Consulting AS becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies. The company will remain based in Bergen, Norway and share premises with Odfjell Drilling AS.
